Administrative Officer – part time – flexible hours – £10.05 per hour, 12 hours per week.
The circuit office (where this role will be based) will be moving from Cwmbran to Abergavenny in Summer 2021.
The Gwent Hills & Vales (GH&V) Circuit comprises 28 churches and encompasses the Eastern section of the South Wales valleys, boundaried by and including Glasbury, Abergavenny, Cwmbran, Tredegar and Bedwas. (approximately 40 miles by 20 miles square).
An exciting new challenge to support the Superintendent Minister and circuit. An opportunity to work flexibly in terms of hours with some home working if preferred.
On occasion you will be required to attend meetings at various locations within the GH&V Circuit, and by Zoom, some of which will be in the evening (approximately once per month).
Duties will include:
Dealing with incoming emails and drafting responses to enquiries
Drafting letters and emails on behalf of the superintendent
Arranging, minuting and organising follow up actions of various meetings within the circuit and via Zoom
Collating and distribution of reports, plans and newsletter
Maintaining organised and confidential records and documents within GDPR guidelines
Proposing and adopting new and efficient ways of working
Co-ordinating an office move from Cwmbran to Abergavenny
