‘Space To Be’
Are you disillusioned with church?
Do you want to worship in a less formal way?
Or asking where Christianity fits in your life?
Or are you just unable to get to church on a Sunday?
…Then ‘Space To Be’ could be for you…
What is Space to Be?
From around 10.30 every Tuesday the church is open for prayer, candle lighting, reflection. At 11am we hold ‘Space to be..’
A time of calm in the midst of a busy week.
Here at Caldicot Methodist Church we realise that some people can’t attend a Sunday service or would prefer to worship in a different way.
‘Space to be’ is a relaxed, informal ‘mini’ service lasting about twenty minutes, which offers a time for reflection, with a ‘thought for the day’, a hymn or two and a time for prayer, with the opportunity to light a candle. But there’s more…
It is wonderful to walk through our coffee morning and see the friendship and fellowship which has developed for those who attend. For one or two people it is ‘church’ and they do not attend any other service in the week and there are those who attend different churches, (at least five churches that I can think of!)
We are a friendly bunch and would like to welcome anyone who wants to join us ‘now and then’ or regularly.
